Payments will be due on the day of the appointment. You may be eligible for a medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. You will need to visit your GP and ask for a Mental Health Treatment plan. The GP can then provide you with a mental health care plan and referral to allow you to access the medicare rebates.
You may also choose to privately fund your sessions, with no GP referral. Some health funds may also provide a rebate for sessions. You will need to discuss this with your fund.
You may also be eligible to access therapy through WorkSafe or other third party payment options, though check with your provider before you schedule an appointment.

Barbara offers services in various locations around Launceston and via telehealth. Information on the eaxct location (clinic, telehealth or outdoors) can be negotiated and location details will be provided when booking an appointment. Clinic spaces may involve stairs, though arrangements can be made to have ground floor access to alternate rooms if necessary.
